for good measure


Thought I should throw this one up there - This was the first cake I ever made! It was a lemon-strawberry chiffon cake on the top two layers and the bottom layer is carrot cake. The bottom is vegan and the top two are NOT at all, tons of eggs and buttercream. I swear, I make the best vegan carrot cake EVER, though, so your guests would never know the difference...
I really need to get better about TAKING PICTURES and posting them!

I made a mehndi cake

Mmmm. This was an excellent choice of cake - an eggless spicey-spice cake (I threw some cayenne pepper in there for some extra kick) with an anise cream cheese filling. The bottom layer is a white chocolate cake with passion fruit filling (this one has eggs) and there is a white chocolate ganache over the entire cake. SUPER YUMMY and unique. I think it came out quite nice, too!
